Hospitals at Southern Border Under Strain by Illegal Immigration

Border states continue to see the impact of illegal immigration. A hospital in Yuma, Arizona, has $26 million of unpaid expenses from treating illegal immigrants without medical coverage. That number doesn’t include the cost of infrastructure. The hospital will receive some relief, but nowhere near enough to cover the full expenses. NTD spoke to Jessica Vaughan, director of policy studies at the Center for Immigration Studies, to get her take on the situation.
