The CDC released a report in February that almost one in three teenage girls considered suicide in 2021, up 60 percent since 2011; and the number of girls feeling sad is almost twice as high as that for teenage boys. NTD spoke to Dr. Meg Meeker, a pediatrician and author, for her insights.
