Former President Donald Trump’s campaign finance hush money trial continued Tuesday with a hearing on whether President Trump violated a gag order. Justice Juan Merchan didn’t make a decision, however, and after the hearing, former National Enquirer boss David Pecker resumed his testimony.

President Joe Biden has visited Tampa, Florida, to condemn the state’s six-week abortion ban—which will soon go into effect. Biden’s campaign has made abortion one of its priorities in the hope of turning out more Democratic voters.

Over 130 people were arrested at anti-Israel protests at New York University, as the school asked the NYPD for help in dispersing the crowd. Protests also continued at Columbia University, with the school moving all classes to hybrid instruction for the rest of the semester.

The Senate has voted to advance the $95-billion foreign aid package for Ukraine, Israel, and Taiwan. The package also has a provision requiring TikTok to separate from its Chinese parent company. It’s unclear when the final vote will be, but the package is expected to pass.
