Top Ranking Design Firm Opens Office in Salinas

June 24, 2008

NTD Architecture, a 300-person education and healthcare design firm, has opened its seventh office in Salinas, California to better serve the firm’s local clients, which include Gonzales Unified School District, the City of Gonzales, Salinas City Elementary School District, and Alisal Union School District. The new office is located in a historical building on the second floor of 250 Main Street in Old Town Salinas.

"We greatly value our clients in this region, and by opening a local office, we hope to continue to provide them with the first-rate service they have learned to expect from us," says Godwin Osifeso, AIA, LEED AP, Principal of NTD Architecture.

Ranked #3 in the nation for K-12 designs by Building Design+Construction, NTD Architecture has achieved a successful relationship with local clients by designing facilities that are respectful of the culture and diversity of the towns. Local projects, such as the Dr. Loya Elementary School Media Center, Gonzales High School Transformation, the Salinas Valley Memorial Hospital NICU Master Plan, and O’Connor Hospital have been designed to preserve the character of the original facilities and the towns around them.

NTD places a heavy focus on sustainable design. The firm’s portfolio includes a multitude of California High Performance Schools (CHPS) and Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) projects. NTD’s additional office locations include San Diego (headquarters), Los Angeles, Visalia, and Auburn, California, as well as Phoenix and Tucson, Arizona.
