Fire officials in Indiana shared footage from a semitruck, which was carrying a full load of gasoline, and caught fire early Saturday.

The Kokomo Fire Department said the driver managed to get out in time before the truck exploded multiple times overnight on U.S. 31 near Center Road in Kokomo, WISH-TV reported. It is unclear whether the driver was hospitalized following the incident.

“The firefighters are working a semi fire on 31. All personnel is safe and the driver made it out,” the department wrote on Facebook, adding a picture of the exploded semitruck.

A video from the large fire was shared by the fire department.

Officials said the semitruck exploded multiple times and burned for about 2 hours before firefighters managed to douse the flames.

No details on the semitruck company or what caused the fire were immediately available.
