Former President Donald Trump said before heading into a New York City courtroom on Friday morning that he believes the so-called hush money court proceedings against him “should be a mistrial.”

President Trump also read passages from an article by legal expert Jonathan Turley, who said the case was “a joke” and accused prosecutors of setting up the trial to “humiliate and smear Trump with a gossipy tale.”
