Xi Jinping Blames US for ‘Suppression’ of China

Beijing’s wolf warrior diplomacy is back on center stage, and this time, it’s not limited to Chinese spokespersons but extends to the highest level of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP).

Xi Jinping started his third term as the head of the CCP with uncharacteristic directness, blaming the United States for blocking China’s rise.

In a speech on Monday, he said U.S.-led Western countries have implemented all-around suppression and a siege against China, which has brought unprecedented and severe challenges to China’s development.

He further called on Chinese people, “Dare to fight, and be good at fighting, in order to constantly win new and greater victories.”
