17 men share one car in Russia—will it drive?

 When the prices for taxis are too expensive you need several people riding with you to share the bill. But these Russian men are going to extremes!

Normally you need a bus to carry 17 people, but in Russia an old Volga from the 1970s is just as good. The Volga is a very durable car built for the USSR government years ago. It might be a bit overloaded, but, hey, it’s Russian… It would probably even work under water.

These men are Bashkir workers, living in the area where Western Europe meets North Asia.  They all squeezed themselves into this car, along with two instruments.

Maybe because “unpacking” could take a while and everything is better with music…
