23 Years of CCP Persecution

July 20 marks the day 23 years ago when the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) began persecuting Falun Gong practitioners.

Falun Gong is a spiritual practice based on the principles of truthfulness, compassion, and tolerance. For over two decades, the communist regime has tried to eradicate the group-numbering anywhere from 70 million to 100 million people using the cruelest methods imaginable.

Methods include multiple ways of torture, imprisonment, taking away employment, expulsion from school, and even killing Falun Gong practitioners for their organs while they are still alive. All this abuse happens amid a propaganda campaign designed to erode public sympathy.

According to a 2019 Falun Gong publication, the CCP’s effort to eradicate the group has made practitioners the most oppressed group in Chinese society.
