75 Percent of PPP Money Sent to Wrong Recipients

The U.S. government began giving out so-called Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) loans to small businesses at the start of the pandemic. The idea was to help them survive amid lockdowns. Now, studies say that only a few jobs were saved this way and a lot of the money was poorly targeted.
