A 15-year-old boy rescued in Central Park after falling through ice

A 15-year-old boy plunged into icy waters of The Pond in New York’s Central Park on Monday.

He was rescued by New York police and taken to the hospital.

Rescue operations took place around 1 p.m.

The day before, two teenage boys, ages 15 and 13 fell through the ice covering The Pond.

They were attempting to take a selfie at around 7 p.m.

Luckily, they were able to swim ashore and then walked away from the scene.
