The next morning when he opens his store, the homeless man is no longer there. He is surprised but satisfied that he has finally scared him away for good. The owner is curious, though, and he checks the security cameras video footage. The truth that he sees is shocking. The homeless man was much more friend than foe.

He sees how the young man is beaten and bullied while trying protecting his store from vandals or any who would threaten the owner’s store. The ending reveals the biggest truth of all, and reminds us that “there is much more truth that you are blind to.
