Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe is fed up with worrying about missile attacks.
North Korea launched yet another medium-range missile toward Japan on May 21. This is the latest in a string of missiles, several of which have landed in the Sea of Japan.
He plans to seek help at the G-7 meeting in Italy, May 26–27.
“North Korea launched a ballistic missile within a week and despite strong warnings from the international community,” Abe said May 21. “They have trampled on efforts by the international community to find a peaceful solution, and this is a challenge to the world.”
Abe hopes that the G-7 will be able—and willing—to intervene.
The Group of Seven is world’s seven most industrialized economies.
