Takoda, the cute black bear, arrived at the zoo in November 2010 after being rescued as an orphan cub in Montana, weighing just three pounds.
The adorable beast now lives in the zoo’s Black Bear Ridge habitat and the zoo says it won’t be released back into the wild. Its name Takoda means “friend to all” in Sioux.
