A funeral in Kabul was rocked by bomb blasts.
Mohammad Salim Izadyar, the son of the deputy Senate speaker, was killed in yesterday’s protest clashes. During his funeral, at least 12 more people died. Funeral prayers were just starting when a series of blasts occurred.
Yesterday, people protested the government’s lack of protection from a May 31 truck bomb that killed over 80.
