Michael Cohen, an AI safety researcher said we’d be impressed by how tech firms adapt to government regulations. He says governments are taking the risks artificial intelligence poses seriously, but that they have not acted enough yet and said tech firms will also need to design AI to enable governments to verify the algorithms are genuinely safe.
