Almond flowers are abloom at a garden in India’s northern Srinagar city.

A large number of people flocked to the city’s Badamwari or Almond Garden to see the blossoms on April 13.

“I can’t describe this beauty in words; we all eat almonds everyday but never knew its flowers would look like this,” said tourist Deepika.

“It is said if there is heaven on earth it is this, never seen a more beautiful place like this,” said Rajinder Kumar, another tourist.

Almond flowers are the first to bloom in the Kashmir Valley, filling the air with a sweet aroma.

Almonds from these gardens are known for their superior taste and high quality.
