U.S. Ambassador to the U.N. Nikki Haley toured the Yad Vashem Holocaust Museum in Jerusalem one June 9.
Earlier the same day Haley met with Israeli Defense Minister Avigdor Lieberman.
The minister presented her with a miniature stiletto-heeled pearl-studded shoe.An inscription beneath read: “To the U.N.’s new sheriff.”
Haley made a speech to the U.N. earlier this week in defense of Israel. She addressed the U.N. Human Rights Council in Geneva on Tuesday.
She berated the council for ignoring countries with horrendous human rights records while focusing obsessively on Israel.
