American wins second women’s surf championship title

An American won the Women’s Surf Championship a second year in a row.

The competition took place in Victoria, Australia. Out of a crowd of Australian competitors, Courtney Conlogue emerged as the American winner.

Courtney Conlogue talked about winning the trophy, “To win the Bell for me is something I used to look in the magazines to see who the winner was, so to get a second one, I’m very honored and super-stoked, obviously. But it was definitely a lot of hard work, my legs definitely think it was!”
