‘An Endless Stream of People’ Crossing Border Illegally, Released Into US: First-Hand Account of Southern Border Crisis

Simon Hankinson, a former foreign service officer with the State Department and a senior research fellow in The Heritage Foundation’s Border Security and Immigration Center, recently visited San Diego County, where the U.S.–Mexico border wall runs right into the Pacific Ocean. He says the situation there is a microcosm of the border issues across the country.
