Analyst: Financial Decoupling ‘Clear and Present’

Financial decoupling between the U.S. and China—the narrative was once considered crazy, but is now being taken pretty seriously and is openly discussed by Chinese officials and economists.

Recent moves by the U.S. shows the administration’s increasing determination to counter China. Reuters reported that the U.S. could potentially kick China out of the global dollar system.

This is seen as a “nuclear option” that would be detrimental to any Chinese company that has international trade.
