Animal sentience can be a provocative topic. For decades some have questioned if animals suffer, feel joy, or are they capable of altruism and helping each other? For some the answer seems obvious, others need a little more persuasion and evidence. For those with more hesitation: Do Animals Have Morals?
With increasing evidence supporting animal sentience it should make humans more responsible towards animals and other nonhuman lifeforms.
