This turned out to be an extremely successful approach as in two consecutive days – all of their kennels went empty. My Modern Met reported:  the Humane Society of the Pikes Peak Region successfully found forever homes for all of their adoptable dogs.

It was reason enough for the staff and volunteers to celebrate their happy victory. They posted a short and endearing video clip on their Facebook page with the following enthusiastic caption:

“What happens when your last available dogs get adopted? Your staff and volunteers jump into the kennels to celebrate! We’ve adopted out 25 cats and 23 dogs so far during our #HomefortheHolidays promotion, and for the second day in a row, we’ve adopted out ALL of our available dogs! We’ll have more dogs available later tonight or tomorrow. Keep those adoptions coming!”
