An undocumented immigrant allegedly raped a female friend last week in Maryland and might face up to 50 years in prison.
The Salvadorean 23-year-old, Josue A.Gomez-Gonzales has been charged with second-degree rape and second-degree assault reported WJLA.
Police say that Gomez-Gonzalez picked up the alleged victim and had plans to go to dinner on Sep. 10. Investigators say that on the way, they bought a bottle of Hennessy cognac and drank the whole bottle at a park in Gaithersburg.

WJLA reported that the victim remembered being extremely drowsy and starting to doze off when Gomez-Gonzales started to sexually assault her.
“Each time Victim A told Gomez-Gonzalez to stop, that she would scream or she would call the police,” said court documents by Montgomery County special victims detectives.
The alleged victim then told the detectives that she remembered Gomez-Gonzalez leading her up to his townhome and assaulting her sexually again.
She said she tried to push him off and hit him but it was of no use, she said she passed out and woke up in great pain.
“When Victim A went to the bathroom she noticed she was bleeding,” wrote the detectives, “Victim A noticed Gomez-Gonzalez had already left for work by the time she woke up. Victim A immediately called the police who responded and transported Victim A to Shady Grove Adventist Hospital where she consented to a Sexual Assault Forensic Exam.”
Gomez-Gonzales is being held on a $100,000 bond at the Montgomery County Detention Center, he is scheduled to appear in court on Oct. 11.

He allegedly worked in a plumbing and heating company and had numerous traffic violations reported WJLA.
According to Immigration and Customs Enforcement, Gomez-Gonzalez is in the country illegally, ICE released the following statement on Sept. 12: “Josue A. Gomez-Gonzalez, a native of El Salvador, is the subject of a U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) detainer lodged with the Montgomery County Detention Center, Md., on Sept. 12, after his arrest for rape.”
