Anti-Domestic Violence Reporting Bill Stopped

Two Democratic assemblywomen in California were working to end medical personnel’s mandatory reporting requirement of suspected domestic or sexual violence to law enforcement. The bill they wrote has since been placed on hold. A psychologist told NTD that health care workers can often help someone escape violent situations.
