Bobcats, native to North America, can weigh as much as 40 pounds.

The Deer Valley Unified School District said that a mother bobcat was spotted on campus with her babies. They fell into a drainage pipe, Fox10 reported.
Arizona Game and Fish officials arrived on the scene dealing with the issue, according to the Fox affiliate.

Officials tranquilized the mother bobcat while attempting to rescue the kittens, ABC15 reported.
Students were released from class for lunch, 12 News reported.
