The lives of children across the world have been changed profoundly during the pandemic in the last two years. The children’s organisation UNICEF says all children—of all ages and in all countries—are being affected, in particular by the socio-economic impacts. Researchers found that the disruption of routines caused some children’s educational attainment to drop and that isolation measures may inadvertently do more harm than good.
