It is like a mother-to-be’s worst nightmare, Lyndsey went in to labour due to some complication, she gave birth to Ward Miles three months prematurely. Tiny and fragile, Ward’s 104 days in the hospital and ultimate soul stirring journey to home is captured beautifully by his loving dad.
Premature childbirth in simple terms means an unpredictable future rates of survival. Possibilities of things going wrong are extremely high – an anxiety any parent would find painful to handle. However for this one family, that nightmare became a reality.
At the time of birth, Ward weighed only one and a half pounds. His parents had to stay in the hospital for a long 107 days before they were able to take their little bundle of joy home.
This video will touch a very deep emotional chord within everyone, it is literally like watching what happens inside the womb of a mother – a great story of wonderful magic of creation and survival happening right in front of your eyes. And it documents a parent’s struggles and travails of coping with a child born prematurely, and the ultimate joy of overcoming such an overwhelming odds.

A year later when you see ward happily playing the drums, its hard to believe he is the same child we saw at the beginning!… It makes you so happy for this family and for Ward!
