At least eight people were killed and many others injured in a crush at the opening night of Houston’s Astroworld music festival triggered by a surge of fans pushing toward the stage. One 20-year-old who attended said he was looking forward to this year’s festival after attending the festival’s first two years, which he described as amazing. But, he said, this year’s fatal edition felt different.
