“Atomic Blonde” was shown at CinemaCon in Las Vegas. The movie was also shown at SXSW earlier in the month. It’s Charlize Theron’s latest action flick. She took the role only after careful consideration.

Theron spoke to media about her decision.

“I want to do something that I’m intrigued by and I want to explore. I think if it’s not a subject I’m not particularly interested in or intrigued by or scared then I feel like I’ve done this for so long—I’ve got two young kids—for me to leave my home and do it, it’s got to be something that’s really going to make me think in a way and discover things in a way that isn’t easy.”

The film required immense fight and stunt training. Charlize cracked two teeth in the process. The film is especially stunt heavy since the movie is directed by former stuntman and stunt coordinator David Leitch.

The movie will be released on July 28.
