Authorities in Aurora are asking for help in the search for a missing 13-year-old girl, who police say is considered “at risk.”

The Aurora Police Department (APD) wrote on Facebook the missing juvenile—identified by only her first name “Aniya”—was last seen Wednesday night, March 18, in the 18000 block of E. Mexico Avenue in Aurora around 9 p.m.

Aniya is at risk due to her young age, police said.

The girl wasn’t noticed missing until Thursday morning around 5 a.m., the department said.

It is unknown what kind of clothing the girl was wearing at the time she went missing, according to the police statement.

Police said Aniya is 5 feet tall and weighs 125 pounds. She has black hair and brown eyes.

Police are asking anyone with information on the missing girl to call 911.
