An Australian man has died in Iceland, with local authorities investigating whether he was infected with CCP virus.

NTD refers to the novel coronavirus, which causes the disease COVID-19, as the CCP virus because the Chinese Communist Party’s coverup and mismanagement allowed the virus to spread throughout China and create a global pandemic.

Local authorities said the 36-year-old’s symptoms were not typical of COVID-19 but there are reports his wife had tested positive.

“The Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade is providing consular assistance to the family of an Australian man who died in Iceland,” a spokeswoman said in a statement on Friday.

“Owing to privacy obligations, we will not provide further comment.”

More than 10,000 Icelanders have established a social media group to support his bereaved wife, who is in quarantine.
