Three Malaysian tiger cubs have a very special nanny—Australian shepherd named Blakely.

The cubs were born February 3.

Their mother wouldn’t care for them, so the staff at the Cincinnati Zoo took over.

Blakely is a resident companion to animals that need a little extra cuddling and comfort.

In the case of the tiger cubs, the 6-year-old Australian shepherd gives them a warm, furry body to climb on.

Zoo staff said he also keeps the cubs in check when they get a little too rough or aggressive.

This isn’t the first time Blakely has been brought in for surrogate duties.

He’s also helped out with baby cheetahs, wallabies, skunks and many others.
