Austrian Police Enforce Lockdown on Unvaccinated

Austria becomes the first European country to reinstate restrictions on daily movements as police and citizens get used to living in a different type of lockdown. Unvaccinated people are only allowed to leave home for work and essential shopping. People are checked by police as they go in and out of shops to make sure they’ve received their jabs, with authorities saying they’ve received little kickback against the measures so far.
