Authorities search for origin of global cyberattack

Most of the world is recovering from the weekend’s “WannaCry ransomware” attack.

Some 200,000 people in 150 countries were affected. Hospitals were among the worst hit, but factories, government agencies, banks, and other businesses also suffered.

Now law enforcement agencies have to try to track the source of the cyberattack.

Police computer experts have to analyze the specific code used in the attack, and also have to try to trace any payments people made to get their data back.
