Today members of the Electoral College met across the country to cast their vote for president and vice president. Normally that’s a straightforward process. But only when it’s a straightforward election. Not this time. Republican electors in Arizona cast their ballots for President Trump and Vice President Mike Pence.

The same happened in Georgia, Pennsylvania, Michigan, Nevada, Wisconsin, and New Mexico. What does it mean?
