In the wild these two animals are anything but friends, but at The Farm Inn Wildlife Sanctuary in South Africa they are best buddies.
Hunter, the tiger cub, was in need of a pal when his mother started showing aggression towards her only baby. In an effort to find him some companionship the sanctuary introduced the three-month-old cub to Chelsea, a four-month-old German Shorthaired Pointer pup.
They have been best friends ever since.
The friendship is good for Hunter because this way he experiences similar situations that he might have experienced had he grown up with other tiger cubs.
So far everything seems to be going as planned for the two unlikely friends.
They race.
They wrestle each other.
And they even let their natural instincts show when they engage in a little stalking. But most importantly they have formed a special bond that otherwise wouldn’t have existed.
You can watch their adorable interactions in the video above.
