‘Beauty and the Beast’ expected to dominate for third weekend

“Beauty and the Beast” is expected to continue box office domination this weekend with an estimated $47 million in ticket sales. It has already taken in over $744 million globally.

At No. 2 the expected second place movie is Alec Baldwin’s animated adventure in “Boss Baby.” The talking baby, sibling rivalry comedy is looking at an expected $32 million.

Scarlett Johansson’s cybernetic manga thriller “Ghost in the Shell” is expected to be third with $28 million. The Japanese comic book and animated property is getting its live-action, American makeover courtesy of Steven Spielberg’s DreamWorks Pictures.
