Beijing Crematories at High Capacity Amid State Media Downplaying COVID-19 Outbreak: Professor

Chinese state media has been downplaying the severity of the Covid-19 outbreak in the country. It’s trying to assure the public that the situation is under control. However, according to former U.S. Army microbiologist and Professor of Biomedical Sciences at Fei Tian College, Sean Lin, many crematories in Beijing are servicing up to 400 deaths per day. This may mean that Beijing alone can see about 5,000 deaths per day. Lin says conflicting systems of reporting in China lead to some putting the infection total at 80 million, while others try to cover up the real number.
