The Chinese communist regime labeled recent U.S. charges against a Chinese citizen “pure fabrication.”
On Friday, the U.S. Justice Department said Xu Yanjun had been convicted by a federal jury of espionage crimes, including plotting to steal trade secrets from several U.S. aviation and aerospace companies.
Xu was arrested in Belgium in 2018. He may be the first Chinese agent extradited to the United States to stand trial.
