Just less than a month before Taiwan’s presidential election, Beijing is once again ramping up pressure on the island. On Friday, the regime’s commerce ministry wrapped up an eight-month investigation, saying that Taiwan’s import restrictions on mainland Chinese goods constitute a trade barrier.
