Berlin streets flooded into many small lakes after massive storm hits

Storms hit Germany hard on Thursday, June 29 and many parts of Berlin, the capital, are flooded.

Traffic slowed to a stop in some places as roads started to resemble lakes and cars tried not to hydroplane.

Firefighters worked to divert water with hoses and pumps.

Storms are expected into the weekend.

A week ago, heavy storms hit the entire country, resulting in two deaths in the north.
