Clay pot rice is originated from Guangdong. There are more than 100 types. So how to make the best Cantonese Clay Pot Rice? Watch this video to find out!

In a clay pot, add 2 cup of sticky rice, then add water to about 1/3 of an inch above the rice. Now add a pinch of salt and 1/2 tablespoon of pork oil, and mix well. Soak for 15 minutes to let the rice soften. Turn to high heat until boiling point then turn it to low heat and cook for 20 minutes.

In the meantime, in a bowl, add a dash of soy sauce, a pinch of white pepper, 1 tablespoon of julienned ginger, 1 sliced la chang sausage, 10 slices la rou bacon, 10 slices of la ya duck, and mix.

In a small bowl, to make the sauce, add 1 teaspoon of rice wine, 1 tablespoon of soy sauce, a pinch of white pepper, and a pinch of sugar.

Now add the marinated meat and 1 sliced mushroom in the clay pot. Also add the sauce in the clay pot. Cook the clay pot for another 10 minutes. Lastly add the minced scallions and cilantro. Turn up the heat for about 10 seconds. Turn off the heat, serve!
