Ever get so bored that you start to tap your pen in class or in a meeting? Or when you are waiting for someone at a table daydreaming, or in an idle moment, you might begin pen tapping in one way or another?
Pen tapping might be annoying in a quiet public place, but at home or between classes it can be a really fun and musical pastime. Practice a lot, and you will find pens (and rulers for that matter!) among the most portable and inexpensive musical instruments.
