President Joe Biden said he is “not giving up” on efforts to reach a ceasefire agreement in the Middle East despite threats from Iran and increased regional tensions.
The president made the comments when he arrived in New Orleans via Air Force One on Tuesday.
When asked if the potential for a ceasefire is waning, the president acknowledged how difficult it would be.
“It’s getting hard,” he said. “We’ll see what you … We’ll see what Iran does, and we’ll see what happens if there is any attack. But I’m not giving up.”
