President Joe Biden on Thursday signed into law legislation that bans all imports from China’s Xinjiang region—the latest in Washington’s pushback against forced labor in a region with alleged genocide.
The bill passed with unanimous support in both the House and Senate earlier this month, with a bipartisan consensus rarely seen in Congress.
