President Joe Biden is scheduled to join Gov. Kathy Hochul for a “Get Out the Vote” rally in Yonkers, New York, on Nov. 6.
In recent weeks, Democrats have been pulling out the big names of the party to join the midterm rallies. Vice President Kamala Harris, former President Bill Clinton, and former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton have headlined rallies for Hochul.
Polls show a tight race for New York governor.
Republican challenger Rep. Lee Zeldin also has his own high-profile supporters. Zeldin is endorsed by former President Donald Trump. Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis, Virginia Gov. Glenn Youngkin, and House Republican Conference Chair Rep. Elise Stefanik (R-N.Y.). Former Democratic Hawaiian congresswoman Tulsi Gabbard has also recently campaigned for Zeldin.
