Raising taxes on the wealthiest Americans and corporations would be harmful not only to the wealthy and businesses, but also to all Americans, according to Joel Griffith, research fellow at The Heritage Foundation.
Mr. Griffith says that as businesses are more profitable, they have more capital to invest, leading to economic growth and an improved standard of living. He also assesses the increase in the number of jobs and unemployed people over a year ago in the February jobs report.
