Bill Essayli Shares Thoughts on Parental Rights, Responds to Critics of California’s AB 1314

Assemblyman Bill Essayli introduced AB 1314 to require California schools to notify parents if their child is transgender, but the bill was denied a hearing last week by Assembly Education Committee Chairman Al Muratsuchi, a Democrat. NTD spoke to the bill’s author, Essayli, to hear his thoughts on the future of parental rights in the state.
