Secretary of State Antony Blinken is in Israel Friday to meet with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and the Israeli war cabinet. The visit comes as the UN Security Council is set to vote Friday on a U.S.-sponsored resolution on the need for a Gaza cease-fire—while talks are underway in Qatar for a cease-fire and hostage deal.

The former adviser to the U.S. Ambassador to Israel and a former special envoy for the Abraham Accords, Aryeh Lightstone, joined NTD to share his analysis of and insights into Mr. Blinken’s diplomatic push.
